the minutes they fell so fast

winter cracks and you fall into spring new season new faces new you make mistakes you make memories time passes way too fast you stumbled into shadows couldn't see where you finished anymore, you thought you would last forever, you held on so tightly but you even left the shadows behind; you fell over and out poured the summer. it blended with the shadows and tears left by strangers, time goes faster for some people and they just go the summer it fell it tumbled through the holes they left in the world, you were left alone, just you and the autumn you lay so still, wondering if it was real and the leaves held you like the kindest stranger in the world, you watched things change through a film of orange, the coolest fire there ever was, and the world was so calm youneverthought of what you were missing you closed your eyes opened them closed them darkness and the light was so simply gone you never questioned where it went; the equinox came and went but the days never got any longer coldthe new day shakes you awake seconds pass no more you are kissed goodnight by the snow, and sleep, awake and time for the next one so fast and yet so endless you head back into the shadows hoping seasons don't change in the dark but days go by without your permission and spring again you dream of fixing mistakes but no second chances everything is just so different  you shake it off and
